ArtsEdge AiR Project 2015 Residency at Beverley District High School

ArtsEdge AiR 2015 Residency at Beverley District High School April - September:

The biggest project of the year has been the ArtsEdge Air Residency at Beverley District High School.

Beverley is a small town in the Central Wheatbelt of WA. The school has over 180 students ranging from pre-primary to year 10. I had the good fortune to work with fellow artist Jenny Broun. Jenny is a resident of Beverley and was instrumental in putting me in touch with the school.
Our work can be viewed here:

Our project explored sustainability using visual arts techniques and using reused recycled/up-cycled materials where possible.

The first part of the project focussed on creation of a series of collaborative artworks portraying many aspects of sustainability and environmental awareness, which were displayed at the Beverley Agricultural Show o the 22nd August:

  1. It was fate to come here at this place. It really paves the way for me to want to go out more. I was fortunate enough to have seen this excellent place with my friends. The entire space at venue Houston feel warm and intimate.
